I worked at a psychiatric institution in Norway for a few years.
What’s your favorite ND experience or event?
The Farmer’s Market in downtown Fargo. There’s always something new and exciting to try there.
Have any famous people come to your bar?
If they did, I would respectfully keep it to myself.
What are you afraid of?
Swimming in open ocean. If I can’t see what’s under me, I’m not having fun.
What’s the best thing about bartending?
The customers. You get to meet some truly wonderful people as a bartender.
What was the craziest thing you have seen happen in your bar?
At a bar I worked at previously, a guy who had evaded police during a chase strolled in, sat down and asked for a beer. Moments later, seven police officers came in and told him to wrap it up. He tipped a few dollars, and casually walked out with them. I guess he just wanted one last drink.
If you could be anyone else, who would you be and why?
Not to sound boring, but I actually love my life, and I wouldn’t want to change a thing.
Do you have a hidden talent/talents?
I’m pretty good at skiing. Not the most exciting thing, but there it is.
Do you have any sage bartender advice?
You never know what day someone else is having, so putting a smile on their face might mean more to them than you think.

Ingredients
- 1.75 Oz Tres Generationes Tequila Plata
- 1.25 Oz Amarula Cream Liqueur
- 1 Oz House Made Demerara Syrup
- Cinnamon Stick

Directions
- Add tequila, cream liqueur, and demerara syrup to shaker.
- Shake for 8-10 second for proper dilution
- Pour into rocks glass over ice.
- Garnish with lit cinnamon stick.
