Fall Fashion Tips From Scheels Expert Michaela Moser

This year for Fall–layers are in! Cardigans, shackets, blazers and flannels, you name it! These can be paired with almost everything you’d want to wear this year. Graphic and distressed tees are a must have for everyone’s wardrobe, and we can’t forget the NikiBiki crop tops that everyone is wearing.

As far as colors, bright colors are the way to go this fall season! Bright-colored cardigans and shackets (shirt+jacket) make for the perfect layering piece to add a pop of color to any outfit!

Comfort and fall definitely go hand in hand and you can’t go wrong with a pair of cute joggers and a sweater or graphic tee to have a comfortable yet fashionable look. All you have to do is a little front tuck and put on a cute pair of shoes and you are ready to go!

Changing shoes with the season is always fun, and you can wear short booties or low kicks with shorts or denim pants and have an awesome look without buying something new. For those of us not ready for fall, sandals still work great with a pair of skinny jeans to keep your outfit looking ready for warm weather.

My hot takes this year are anything neutral and a great shacket. Browns are a must have and with so many different shades there is one perfect for everyone. Shackets are a perfect layering piece for any day. You can dress them up with a sweater or blouse or dress it down with a band tee or crop top. No matter how you wear it, it works!

The brand that I feel holds true for fall every year is Free People. They always have the best sweaters with a variety of colors and shapes for everyone.

New this year is Thread & Supply. We are so excited to be able to carry this brand. They offer so many great lounge styles, layering pieces and basics!

If you’re looking for a new pair of jeans, a straight leg is the way to go. Brands like KUT from the Kloth, Silver Jeans and Flying Monkey will carry a lot of great pieces.
