From chill-mode to full-party mode—everything you need to know about all six WE Fest camping sites
Spring sunshine in Fargo, North Dakota, means we are one step closer to the summer activities we’ve been longing for through each passing blizzard! One activity we love to plan out with our friends and family is the one and only WE Fest Country Music Festival at the Soo Pass Ranch, just off MN State Highway 59 and County Road 22 in Detroit Lakes, MN.
Dive into WE Fest's Six Campground Experiences
1. Lake Sallie
When we think Minnesota, we think lakes! That’s exactly what the beautiful Lake Sallie campground embodies, reminiscent of one big family reunion and friendly for all ages. You’ll even have access to hot grab-and-go food items from the popular Wrap Shake located near the showers.
2. Northwoods
Want the other side of Minnesota’s nature and something more restful? Northwoods has you covered with its hilly shade, winding roads, and noise curfews. Relax into your very own forest getaway whenever you’re not partying it up to the music.
3. Oatfield
Let’s explore the Northeast together. Sometimes, all you need to feel truly free are open skies, wide fields, and ample space to stretch out. That’s what Oatfield offers—a diverse mix of campers. Plus, from the wooded area at the north end, you’re just a short walk away from the concert bowl.
4. Blue Ox
Focused on which spot gets you closest to entry into the festival? Check out Blue Ox on the East side of the grounds. This popular campground is a fantastic mixture of young campers and veterans and is a great go-to for anyone looking for that easy access to the East gate!
5. Viking
Let’s continue east to the one, the only, the legendary Viking campground. If you’re searching for a campground brimming with energy and focusing on fun, look no further – grab your festival friends and party like a Viking here.
6. VIP
If you’re seeking a more comfortable experience to park your RV, we understand and have you covered! On the south end of the grounds, the VIP area offers plenty of shade and is conveniently close to the sponsored hospitality area, which is open to everyone.
