The facility is part of the Detroit Lakes Community and Cultural Center (DLCCC), which is a wild mash-up of community hotspots like a fitness and aquatics center, an indoor playground, the Holmes Historic Theatre, and more! This might be a once-ina-summer stop or a monthly visit, but either way—grab the family and stop here sometime this summer!
Holmes Art Cellar, located in the Historic Holmes Theatre in Detroit Lakes is a hub for creative community engagement, but that’s not to say it’s not a hidden gem for those outside the DL community. The Holmes is a venue that offers a variety of arts-related programming and activities for all ages. You’ll find art classes, open studio sessions for woodcarving and life drawing, and even senior engagement activities.
