Boppas Bagels​

Sort through savory and sweet options in bundles from two and up and enjoy half-priced day-old bagels from Boppas. Found in store, while supplies last.

The bakery often offers discounted items, look for the sign that says, “Oops we made too many!”

Senior customers age 55+ are eligible to save 5% off their entire grocery purchase every Wednesday, including weekly promotions and sale items!

Costco has a policy where unsold bakery goods are marked down, especially at the end of the day. Keep an eye out for discounted muffins, croissants, and bread.

Similar to Costco, Sam’s Club discounts baked goods and other perishable items close to their expiration date. Shopping in the evenings or just before store closing ups your chances of finding deals!

The Home Depot, for Kids!

In-Store Kids Workshops—Join the team on the first Saturday of each month between 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. for FREE in-person Kids Workshops. Hosted while supplies last.

Youth Aviation Camp

Held at the Fargo Air Museum, the Youth Aviation Camp teaches young aviators (ages 6-18) the fundamentals of aviation-related topics, with topics changing monthly.

Each camp is divided into two parts, held over two Saturdays per month. Aviators must register for the first camp to attend camp No. 2. Completing both parts may qualify for a Scout Merit Badge. Plus, it’s FREE thanks to grant funding from the North Dakota Aeronautics Association!

Walk/Run/Skip—it Out!​

The Rustad Recreation Center is a multisport facility in West Fargo that includes a 1/8th-mile, elevated track available for free public use during building hours. Be courteous to others using the track. No pets, rollerblades, or skateboards are allowed, but strollers are more than welcome!

The new Fargo Parks Sports Center in South Fargo features an elevated indoor walking/running track above the multi-use indoor field. The track is 1/4 mile and free for public use. Plus, outside the walking track is the Midco lounge, the perfect spot for water, coffee, snacks, and chatting before or after laps!

Various Parks & Rec and school spaces include a free walking track, including Moorhead Sports Center, Fargo South Sports Arena Fargo North High Gym and Track, and West Fargo Veterans Arena. Find their hours of operation on their respective websites.

AARP members can access local offers and discounts in Fargo, including savings at local venues, theme parks, restaurants, and attractions. Outside of local entertainment, you can save on hotels, airfare, cruises, car insurance, and more. The membership starts at $12/ year—and, although AARP is dedicated to people over 50, there is no minimum age to join. Anyone 18 and older can get a membership! Check it out!

Free Museum Admission

Visit the Plains Art Museum and the Rourke Art Museum, for free! Free admission is available through museum memberships, donations, and the FM Free Arts Initiative.

Rourke Art Museum: F-Sun 1-5 p.m.

The Fargo Theatre, for being a historic space in the community, is relatively inexpensive to enjoy. Matinee showtimes (afternoon) are $9/ticket, evening shows are $11/ticket (with a $1 off for members and students), and seasonal specials vary lower and higher, depending on the celebration!
